The Enjoy Mallorca and Mallorca Birdwatching Calendar 2020 Amateur Photographic Competition is now closed.
When uploading your photo, remember to enter your name, address and telephone number. Upload your entry (maximum 2MB file). Please ensure images are uploaded as they are to be displayed on the website. Only images in a landscape orientation should be submitted. Once your photograph has been approved your photo will appear in the relevant gallery.
If you would like to enter the competition, there are a few simple rules to follow:
The competition is only open to amateur photographers and entries must not have won any other photographic competition. You can enter as many of your own photographs as you wish which must have been taken on the Island of Mallorca and fall within one of the two categories stipulated in the competition entry rules. Any photos found to have been taken elsewhere will be disqualified. You may choose in which of the the two categories you would like your images to feature.
The judges will decide on the 48 winning photographs. First prize is a weekend stay for two, during the birding season, in a bird friendly hotel around Puerto Pollensa. Each featured photographer will receive one complimentary copy of the Enjoy Mallorca and Mallorca Birdwatching Calendar 2020. Terms and conditions apply.
The closing date for entries is midnight, Sunday 30 June 2019.
Other things to consider when entering:
Entries: Your entry must be submitted digitally via this website. Please note postal entries will not be accepted.
Image adjustment: enjoymallorca.com is aware that digital photography does allow for some image enhancement. You can enter images that have had spots, scratches or other blemishes removed. You are permitted to have worked on the colour or enhanced the image for the sake of the composition. However, we will not accept entries that superimpose elements photographed separately on to an image. Photographs may be cropped and enhanced in a photo software program so long as the manipulation is not so extreme as to significantly distort the image or create a “computer art” image. Examples of extreme manipulation include, but are not limited to, watercolouring, oil painting, pencil renderings, cross processing, etc. If, in the opinion of the judges, software manipulation is extreme, the photo will be disqualified.
Photographs entered: Any entries to this competition must not have been offered for sale or have won other competitions.
Entry is open to anyone aged 18 years or over.
If you have not received an email notifying you of your submitted entry please check all your folders including spam/trash.
